Title: End of Life (EOL) - OnviCall™ Manual Data Replication

OnviSource is announcing the End of Life Support for the legacy Manual Data Replication product used in OnviCall beginning July 1, 2016.

 

As part of our on-going efforts to deliver state-of-the-art, automated and feature-rich solutions to our customers OnviSource has developed and has deployed a new and automated data replication, backup and recovery product called Ensuraâ„¢, field-proven and currently being used by many of our customers. Ensura replaces our 8-year-old replication software, as the replication software will be placed in End of Life (EOL) status by OnviSource as of July 1, 2016.

 

As always, OnviSource also offers an easy transition from the legacy replication software to our new Ensura product, both operationally and financially.

 

We fully realize that the legacy replication software played an important role in your billing, data backup and recovery, disaster recovery, etc. To that point, we are offering Ensura to not only fully support the legacy functionalities, it also delivers a series of automation capabilities and new features in order to significantly assist you in your critical business operation and

operation continuity.

 

Migration Path

The Ensura Data Manager replaces this functionality with an automated process that is initiated by the end user. Ensura provides many new benefits such as the freedom to rebuild, stop/start and manage the replication processes.

Ensura can also help significantly reduce any down time while contacting OnviSource Service Support for replication assistance.  No longer will an appointment be required while waiting to pull end of month reporting. In some cases the processes of simply stopping and starting replication can resolve known problems without interruption in service. When replication requires a rebuild, the end user can elect to rebuild at their preference, night or day, allowing the most desirable time to be chosen.

Ensura allows a back-up of the replication database, in case your replication database is ever corrupted or down you still maintain a recovery back-up to rebuild your replication. With one click, you can check your replication status and purge large amounts of data - minimizing the time it takes to rebuild your replication.

 

NOTE: Once Ensura is purchased, OnviSource will extend legacy replication support until Ensura is deployed.
